That's how they used to be. Not sure you can claim that still holds for this team, which did not, as some suggested, fade away at the end of the year like past Bungles' teams have done. Or when Andy Dalton went down.

We'll see Saturday night if they're still a mentally weak team.

Dalton being out may have contributed to that.

They just did a long spot on Sportscenter previewing the game. The interviews with the Bengals players (they showed Pacman and Kirkpatrick) are comical. These guys are being so careful not to say anything. Very respectful of the Steelers team, working hard to get ready, etc.

The release of all this pent up aggression Saturday night could be epic. I can't imagine a scenario where both teams aren't foaming at the mouth.

Perhaps.

Just saying there's no basis to have any confidence that we are "in the Bengals' heads" or that they are mentally/emotionally weak.

I disagree. I think they proved themselves to be mentally weak with their over-the-top bravado tough guy act in the last game.

Felt like they were nervous/scared and over compensating for that.

Oh please...both teams were in on that.

I'm fired up for this game.

This wc weekend is going to be a blast (provided we get the win of course).

Looking for a total team and coaching effort and getting the win!

I mentioned the 2 bengals coordinators getting interviews tomorrow and how it's a distraction

I read a cincy article at Bengal board saying he was focused on the game today.....some afterward comments saying "yea right"

I just found this from Breer.......I think back to the mid 90s with Cowher and his staff...

Hue Jackson - C - Bengals
Bengals OC Hue Jackson is reportedly putting together a staff ahead of Sunday's interview with the 49ers and Browns.

Jackson can't accept any offers until the Bengals are eliminated, but is considered the "clear front-runner" with the 49ers. He could bring Bengals DC Vance Joseph with him if he gets the job, though Joseph's also been linked to Miami. Packers assistant OL coach Mike Solari is Jackson's offensive coordinater target. Jackson should handle play-calling whenever he lands.
