Re: Steelers at Bears Game Comments and Bedwetting
Back to the Narduzzi fake punt yesterday. Was a bad call with positive results and outcomes overall, caused by altering the attitudes and complexion of the game. It the fake punt said it is OK to play loose, make a mistake, but fucking take some chances and let er rip.
Conversely, Tomlin takes the most conservative routes all game long and the team plays tight and makes zero plays in the fourth quarter and loses.
Time to go Mike T.! You suck at coaching and making people around you better at football.

Rudolph ĥas a decent arm but thats it. Without the running game today and the Bears lbs out this game wouldn't have been close.

It was close and competitive. Both teams had their share of chances. Better than being blown out.
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

They’ve done that going back to the Chiefstillcajun wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 9:13 pmBryant McFadden called it. He said what we all have known for quite some time. Tomlin teams will always play down to the level of their competition.

For obvious reasons. 7-5 is better than 6-6. I still think the Steelers get to 10 wins.

Chicago is a paper tiger from what I have seen. They will start losing in December based on what I saw. Steelers are awful, and I assume Bears have one of the weakest schedules in the league after being last in the league for forever.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 9:19 pmIt was close and competitive. Really good point. Tomlin’s conservatism has led to a sphincter throbbing choke culture where the number one priority of no mistakes leads to interminable catastrophic mistakes. How bouts just a little concentration on not making stupid, unnecessary mistakes—-like lining up wrong, etc. That last Austin penalty pretty much sealed the loss.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 9:17 pmBack to the Narduzzi fake punt yesterday. Ran for 186 yards today and over 5 yards a carry and still lost.
Also had a defensive td. Tomlin's offenses arent designed to score more than about 20 points a game whether its Rogers at qb or someone else.

I am pulling for us to lose out. We could end up with a top 10-12 pick.
If we don't give away all the picks for a QB then this could be a draft to really restock the shelves with talent. Sign Winston or some other journeyman and get the QB a year later.

Everyone knows that on any snap Jackson or Henry could score. A whole lot less of that feeling about our offensive players.drmalba wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 9:35 pmGlass houses and all, yeah...but the Rats do not look at all like world beaters.stillcajun wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 9:30 pmAnd to put the cherry on this crap sundae..Ratbirds now lead the division after today's games.

Nothing is getting restocked until there is a change with Tomlin. Tomlin could have every first round pick in 2026 and 2027 and it wouldn’t make a difference. Tomlin waters the garden with Gatorade!stillthere wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 9:38 pmI am pulling for us to lose out. We could end up with a top 10-12 pick.

Gotta love the Tomlin Trifecta:
1) Thursday Night against a division opponent on the road
2) West coast prime time
3) Game in Chicago
Pretty much 3 guaranteed losses and Tomlin's team delivered. Yay Mikey T

Likely but (1) the Pens have a ton of injuries and (2) they are still having decent process (ie they deserved to win yesterday).Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 9:25 pmTurns out the Steelers and likely the Penguins are garbage

Get the trash out of the lineup via return from injury / calling up McGroaty the Pens will have a fighting chance.

Story of Steelers offense:
1st down, on Steelers 59, need about 10 yards for first down.
Complete two passes, still lose the ball on downs.

Same movie, again
Tomlin PC 1/14/25 -“‘Stuck’ is a helpless feeling. I don’t feel helpless,” Tomlin said. “I don’t know if I want to sell you an overly optimistic (tone) either.

We just watched the 2022-2024 Steelers. offensive improvements are a mirage of a super human QB, just like they were with Ben.
Good loss
