Like going for it. Play was there. Execution failed.

How about you use Washington’s height and throw it up high?

explain to me why that wasn't a TD?

It didn't hit his hands, so how can it be a muff? Or is it that every punt that's touched by the receiving team can only be recovered and not returned?
Can’t be forwarded

The colts never had possession

It was a turnover, only because the colts player touched it.

Turns out running a reverse with a 6’4 WR from the 5 yard line in the red zone isn’t a good play.

That first play drop really hurts now.
Wasn’t a drop.

Thrown too far in front of Smith but not connecting killed that drive.
It clanked off his hands. That's a drop. Especially when wearing gloves.

Rodgers has been terrible today right along with Arthur Smith.

That sideways sweep to Metcalf looks like they’re trying to lose.

There is no good football explanation as to why that is a rule. Any other fumble on the field can be advanced. They need to change it
Remember when a guy muffed a punt, and the Steeler caught it in air off the deflection - and it was a penalty? HAVE to give the returner a chance to recover the muff, meaning I guess it has to hit the ground first.

But really, who gives a fuck. There is no reason a play like that shouldn’t be free to advance.

DK doesn’t seem to be super fast.

Can't advance a muffin punt
And if it hit the back of a player and was recovered? Again, what constitutes a muff as the didn't didn't even try to catch it.
I think you have to possess it first to be considered a fumble to advance it. But idk, they change rules as often as I change underwear.

He got his fingerTIPS on it. Smith isn’t a burner. Gotta put that on a TE.

Rodgers has been awful today.

He shot his load early in the year. More journeyman than magic man from here on out.

The bigger question is why not kick a FG there? Points will be needed today.

Because Tomlin convinced himself last week they need TDs and not FGs.

He doesn't waste his time with situational planning. Thoughts are a waste of time.

It sort of looks like a Steeler defender is at least within a yard or two of the receivers. That's an improvement.
