MNF - Eli and Peyton
If you are streaming on ESPN app, at least on Apple TV, just put the two screen mode on, and then you can hear the brothers and not miss the game. I have a theatre screen so a bit more tolerable.

Jared Goff marches his team right down to score on their opening drive.
Tomlin’s squad never does that. Ever.

If the Steelers played with the brothers commentary we would have some answer to our ills in real time.

Token fakes on a screen play…priceless for future QBs.
I just can’t understand how you can call intentional grounding on a QB when his arm is hit as he’s trying to throw.
NHALS = NFL purgatory
It's actually quite simple - Detroit is supposed to suck, and they are playing Aaron Rodgers.

Well, I didn’t really want to come out and say it, but…
NHALS = NFL purgatory
This game could be huge for my must-win pool....a lot of people either didn't pay attention last week, or just assumed Rodgers would bounce back with a typical night and isn't a moping grumpus or anything like that

The Lions O line is opening big holes and (mostly) giving Goff time. Aside from the bogus grounding call he is 11 for 11 with 2 TD.

Perch nailed it. The only offense that looks worse than the Steelers right now is the Jets. The goddamn Texans look like the Greatest Show on Turf compared to what we have going on out there.

Seeing Duce Staley on the Lions sideline triggers a memory of 04 15-1 season when for our first 9+ games he was a guaranteed 5+ yards on every rush. Then he got hurt and only played a few more games the next couple seasons and basically did nothing. There was lots of on board commentary about how out of uniform and on the sideline the guy could totally rock Steeler warmup attire.

But he was a terrific runner when he first came over..gladd to see him doing well.
Our offense looks nothing like an NFL offense

Since I normally have no issue criticizing Rodgers when he's bad, let me just say that the TD throw to Robert Tonyan was just about the ballsiest, best throw I've seen in years. I'm not even sure it was smart, since he had (I think) Adams running free across the middle for an easy TD, but he sure cashed the check!
