Thanks for posting. I like to know what games I'll get in the other time slot, and I know the displaced Steelers fans like being able to plan ahead.

I would like to point your attention to that map, specifically the area on PA around Philly. Heck also the top of Delaware.
I thought I remember people being pissed off that NFL broadcasting rules were ceding chunks of that part of PA as Baltimore home market.
Because it was within X miles or something like that. So the affiliates had to air the Felons games over Steelers games.
That looks like it isnt the case. Or has that changed recently?

It is. Look at that chunk near York that will get the Ravens' game because York is considered Ravens' country.
For me, I get to see two games at the same time that I never could see before but can now because of the flexing rules this year that put Cincy v Cleveland on Fox. So I get them and the Steelers.

The NFL Broadcasting rules that screw over Central PA only become a factor when Baltimore is on the Road. We are a Balt primary market, and the local CBS has to show Baltimore when they are traveling. This week, they are home, so CBS is free to show either team, and they always choose the Steelers, when they have the choice.StillMadAtSlobber wrote:I would like to point your attention to that map, specifically the area on PA around Philly. That chunk is Franklin & Fulton. Different station. Maybe one based in MD or WV. Only sheep fuckers live there.Jeemie wrote:It is. Look at that chunk near York that will get the Ravens' game because York is considered Ravens' country.

I was born and raised in York. The only thing to do in York is to find a way out.R S wrote:York is a shithole, and mostly Rat fans.
Lots of Maryland commuter transplants.
no offense meant. i was in dtown york for the first time this summer. There was a block area that seemed nice with some decent bars but i was a little worried after seeing what i had to drive through to get there

One of the few Steelers games this season where I've had to rely on my Sunday ticket.

Is that 'cuz you get the Providence network feed, '58?
I've needed my Sunday Ticket for both Cleveland games, Tampa Bay, Jax, NYJ, Cinci & now Atlanta

Cincinnati and NYJ were network for me. The others were ticket. Five games out of 13 so far. Reason is probably the high number of prime time games the Pats have. Also, if the Pats and NYJ are on at different times, they will show NYJ on CBS.
