Let's establish the names for the defense

sCam
Low Watt
Alex HighAnkleSprain
Keanu Bentover
Patrick Plays Like a Queen

Willing to establish some more for these losers. Make some tweaks.

Won’t have create a name for this ‘bust’ waived today.

After last week's performance.

Payton PED Wilson?

(He got drug tested after the Colts' game lol).

I prefer "The Jogger". Sounds like a Billy Joel song

Ah, that’s a shame.

Next!

Can’t believe Mediocre Mike finally gave up on one of his favorite “projects”.

Maybe he can resign Harvin to the practice squad so he can be his Big Brother again.

Mike Tomlin and NHALS - The embodiment of the soft bigotry of lowered expectations.

When we discuss the important attributes for NFL HC's, what's interesting, Tomlin sucks at most of them. 18 years in, still no growth as a head coach.

I hope Wilson's test came back positive for everything. I would expect nothing less out of an elite athlete on the highest paid defense.

Did they make room for the Dud by releasing the Leal Deal

Did not hear that. I hope he is fine.
Year two he is doing less thinking and is now able to use his speed and instincts.
That INT was nice work, as he may have been responsible for the RB leaking out to the right.........but then read QB, did not swing out to follow the RB and headed back towards direction of QB target. This was all in a split second decision making

One thing i like about him and he may get flagged in it....
He likes to give a little extra slam and a little extra business as he is making the tackle....or after the tackle.

he most likely exceeds his tackles total from last year in this next game.....
and is on pace for 150....which is way to many when you think about guys that have that many tackles means...their defense is on the field way too much

Leads the team with 71 tackles in only 409 snaps and only starting 4 of 8 games..
Queen is second with 56 tackles.........in 574 snaps....

He also has 141 special team snaps.

As critical as I am of Tomlin, (and have been far longer than most) I have to say that this isn't really true. Tomlin has major warts, but also a number of qualities that have allowed him to stay in this role for as long as he has.

It's always interesting when the Steelers let someone like Leal go, and I think back to all BS that usually came from Tomlin about how great of a player that person was going to be and how fortunate the Steelers were to have them. Loudernilk, Kendrick Green, Najee. Tomlin acted as if each of them was a HOF lock.

It's almost comical.

He is obviously a process guy. That’s probably his number one trait that has allowed him this much success.

Unfortunately, he is so stubborn, that he can’t tweak the processes to inject new coaching ideas and improve personnel decisions. He has major blind spots on his processes that suck or are mediocre.
