Tush Push...Steelers version
What could possibly be the rationale basically playing 10 versus 11 in this version, with the quarterback being a non-participant? Shouldn't they get the quarterback the fuck off the field if he's going to stand there and do nothing

10 vs. 11
That thought even cross their heads?
Not to mention we are using our least physical, least athletic, slowest quick twitch offensive player

Tomlin PC 1/14/25 -“‘Stuck’ is a helpless feeling. I don’t feel helpless,” Tomlin said. “I don’t know if I want to sell you an overly optimistic (tone) either.

I'm more upset at the third and five where the Bears converted and got a FG late in the first half.
Not only did they play 8-10 yards off the ball, no one even tried to close hard when the pass was thrown.
That pass could have gone to any of the targets the Bears sent out into the pattern.
I am more angry at that than any play in the game that was run because it was the ultimate in living in one's fears.

the all--22 of this game might be worse than the bengal game.
All on Tomlin's head.

Pretty humiliating to think he says execution needs to be better when his players are routinely, routinely, are not put in positions to succeed, bu to fail.......on both sides of the ball.

I’ve said this since they first ran it. Philly uses a big strong QB. We play 10 on 11 with our QB 10 yards in the backfield holding his dick because our incompetent coach can’t even copy another team’s play right.

You guys are so short sighted! There’s a 100% chance that there will be a play later this season where Connor Hayward takes the snap, fakes the tush push, and instead tosses it back to the QB, who attempts a pass to a TE who leaked into the flat.
Granted, this same play will end up either in an INT returned for a TD and/or that same QB getting annihilated, but hey, creativity for the win!

100% I was going to say the same thing.Louis Lipps Service wrote: ↑Mon Nov 24, 2025 10:30 pmYou guys are so short sighted! Remember, this is the same team that more often than not, is perfectly happy to go long on 3rd/4th and short if it's the only time they see man coverage. DK's inability to play jump balls might throw a wrench in that though.
It’s sooooo funny that it’s Jibba’s Steelers fucking up a play most teams convert with ease.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 88 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.
