On the sidelines, he recognized illegal formations that the coaches didn't and his own play calls are better than Smith's

So why are we not discussing him as an OC or player/coach?

The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

Most Steelerfury regulars who think running a TE centric offense with a bunch of TE2s and TE3s is a bad idea would be a better OC than Smith or Canada...

Sometimes people with incredible ability arent the best at coaching others. Not assuming this is the case, but if Rodgers 'gets it' because he can see things most cant, he may not be able to teach that skill. There arent many SB winning QBs in coaching jobs as far as I know, and its probably because they're gifted, and you cant teach that. Its the guys who have had to figure it out without the god given talent that are best at teaching others.

I'm sure Rodgers has a place in a staff somewhere, but he'd also be great on TV as an analyst.

It'd be an interesting idea under different circumstances and I'd kick the tires. But seems like a pointless endeavor given Tomlin is still in the room and rubber stamping everything. We could reincarnate and hire Don Coryell and he'd have him running this caveman offense.

Rodgers doesn’t strike me as a person who has any interest in being a coach

He’s already indicated, once he retires, he’s going dark.

No social media, no television, etc
I am lazy and I use voice to text far too often.

Please disregard any ridiculous grammatical or contextual errors.

I will strive to do better
