Crosby seems to be back, maybe back since Christmas. He was dominant the first twenty minutes.

I think the purging of MJ and his system is done. The Pens whole has been cleansed and now they are playing like they are having fun again. It has been a while since we have seen them having a good time on ice.
Letang looks better, his shot is hitting the net. Crosby is out of his funk and dominant again. Cullen with Malkin is working. The defense is still average at best but the forwards don't seem to have to linger in their own end so often.
The only thing that has remained the same is goal tending. Hopefully that continues-Fleury was very good last night.

Yeah it seems evident that MJ's system was stifling the team's potential. The difference in Crosby pre/post MJ is night and day. Thank god. So nice to see. Sullivan was a great hire.

Agree with everything you guys said - complete 180 for the entire team. If they skate like that every game, the playoffs are a lock, as they should be when our forwards are able to do their thing like Sullivan appears to allow them to do. Only hesitation is around other teams figuring us out - Johnson started off hot as well until the league caught on...
