How bad is this concussion, really? Can he play in the Cleveland rematch?

I could be wrong, but I think ol' Diontae might miss some significant time. I'll be shocked if he's back in 2 weeks.

Bleeding from the ear is pretty creepy.

Sounds like either skull fracture, broken jaw, or blown eardrum.

He was on social media today, saying he’ll be back. Doubt that he’s got a level 3 concussion of anything like that.

I am in complete disbelief Randall didn't get a suspension at all.

Diontae Johnson is already one of my favorite Steelers. He is an open field threat and will continue to help fill the AB void. Hope the injury turns out to be not too serious. The bleeding hopefully related to laceration to the ear structure, rather than skull or something more internal.

I swear I saw bits of brain coming out of his ear.

I bet they get him with the regular NFL HQ film review process for fines and suspensions.

I suspect the fight got an immediate adhoc punishment review first thing in the morning. It was the equivalent of the 2:00am call for NFL HQ.

Looked like he got tagged in the earhole of his helmet. I'm hoping it was just a laceration on his ear to go with that concussion because blood coming outta the ear is definitely not good.

That's what I figured. The fractured skull, while wearing a helmet, has to my knowledge never happened in the NFL. It doesn't even seem possible that a helmet-to-helmet hit could fracture a skull.

That is excellent! It really looked bad to me -- and we're going to need him.
