Over 13 games Bell on pace for

Post by rooneytunes » Mon Oct 24, 2016 3:48 pm

1,100 rushing yards, 800 receiving yards and 97 catches. In a 13-game season

Over 16 games that is 1350 rushing, 980 receiving, and..............119 catches. For a running back.

God please be around in the playoffs

Bell's stats are impressive. And Imo he hasn't really put it in 5th gear yet.

He's on pace with his last full season 2014, in which he dominated yards from scrimmage, and all the advanced metrics.

Le'Veon Bell is not the kind of guy that plays for stats. He wants the Super Bowl.

AND I think he wants two other things;

1. To score a TOUCHDOWN
2. To be given the ball in short yardage situations.

We believe in Bell, but do Tomlin and Haley? Who the hell knows.

It's a testament to Tomlin's buffoonery that this production hasn't translated to more wins.

What Bell is on pace for doesn't matter.

What does matter is that yet again the team is on pace to likely needing help to squeak in as a wildcard.

Standard is the standard.
The Steelers are among the NFL’s worst teams in total offense (30th) and total defense (28th). Highest paid defense in the league by far. We are lucky to have Mike Tomlin.

Let it sink in. We have arguably:

The best QB in the NFL
The best WR in the NFL
The best RB in the NFL

We should be the 1980's Forty-Niners.

But we haven't met that standard.

BECAUSE, those three can't stay on the field together for the last 1 1/2 seasons. I'm not Tomlin's best friend, but THAT is THE major issue for us.

LOL

Call for Tomlin's, the coaches and Colbert to get canned, but AR2 I don't believe is selling/going anywhere ever.

The 49ers were a complete team on both sides of the ball. They had great defense.

49ers defensive points ranking during those four 80's Lombardi's...

2nd, 1st, 8th, 3rd

The 90's cryboys had 3 great skills players.... but they also had one of the greatest OL's ever... maybe the best OL since the merger.

No cap, no free agency except for their last super bowl in 94.
