For over a decade we're all used to seeing the best accuracy in the league when under tremendous pressure. These guys are not Ben. I think we are expecting too much from backups.

Gradkowski will be fine, playing with the first team o-line in a pinch.
Landry Jones fears pressure and shits himself accordingly.

But does he reach an Andrew Dalton level of self-excretion?

Sunday, December 6, 2009. Grad was 20 of 33 with 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Louis Murphy caught 2 TD's one for 75 yards and the other for the game winner in the final minutes. Bruce fucking Gradkowski. Louis fucking Murphy.
How that team fell so quickly from it's Super Bowl winning year is still a mystery to me. That five game-losing streak of which this game was the fourth loss was about as excrutiating a time to be a Steeler fan as I can remember. Three of the five losses in that streak were to Todd Haley-coached KC (4-12 in 2009), Oakland (5-11) and Cleveland (5-11). The largest margin of losing was seven points against Cleveland.
Frustrating times, for sure. That Raiders game was probably the closest I've ever come to throwing something through my TV.

So it's OK to poor mouth one of the greatest DC's in the history of the game to defend a QB that likely spins stuffed cabbage better then he does the ball?
I know this much...I absolutely wallow in the contempt of those that elevate Gino Blass and lil bow wow while finding DL lacking...
