Bad loss but we have a young QB who actually gives us a chance going forward.

The bigger issue today was the defense.
You said the defense wasn’t the problem.
The defense without Watt is a massive problem.

Watt might be the best football player in the entire NFL.

He was the most important guy on the team, basically since he arrived.

No play calls to wreck havoc.
Or create confusion.
To hurry the QB.
Blitz.
Overload.
Safety blitz.

They were getting to Wilson, but he was too good on the shoulder fakes. I think they went into contain mode because Wilson is too elusive. Highsmith whiffed a bunch today and Wilson made him look like a seal with an Orca.

Highsmith can keep spinning himself out of plays.

Our pass rush is goddamn Fuckkng bad. It sucks
very true, the story of this game is that the jets ran out two off the street tackles, and pressure was far too light when we needed it

Correct. He uses the spin move now like Gildon used his Cape of Good Hope rush.

I guess we can look forward to the start of the Kenny era and the return of Watt.

And I'll say this - Kenny made it more exciting, because he made throws Trubisky wouldn't make. He also threw picks Trubisky wouldn't have thrown.

So, in the end, maybe not an upgrade.

I like what I saw from Kenny, but we'll just never really know what we have with Canada calling plays.

I love Cam and it’s unfair he’ll never have a ring, but serious question: is he nearing his expiration date?

Pick one although underthrown hits Claypool in hands

Pick 2, terrible decision, high ball goes off Fry hands

Pick 3 Hail Mary so what

Eh, looks like KP8 at least has the stones to play QB plus good accuracy. Taking the L with a grain of salt cause this team needs an infusion of talent, one game closer to a top 5 pick IMO. Also was nice seeing Harbaugh fuck up royally at the end of the game, going for it on 4th and goal from the 3 with 4 minutes left in a tie game in a rain storm, yikes.

Hopefully rookie learning pains but back to back poor plays (shit pitch followed by questionable pass)
The two picks don't bother me. Throws that were, maybe, a foot of the mark. Throws he just didn't make knowing NFL speed.

His decision, accuracy and pre-snap reads are generally looking really good. He'll adjust to NFL speed in a few games.
Um, coulda been there already.

steelers win this game if pickett starts it, hes going to make the steelers offense a bit more difficult to stop even with canada. he can make throws and he’s able to process things better and faster… knowing when it’s time to get and get a few yards.

Those 2 INTs had nothing to do with adjusting to NFL speed. WTF are you seeing? One he made the decision to throw it up to Claypool and the other was a throw where he waited too long, threw off his back foot, and it bounced through his TE's hands.

Everyone blamed the offense on Ben. He wasn't the problem.

And now, without Ben, LL Cool Shades doesn't have his binky. Probably 4-0 with Ben right now, not unlike the 11-0 start in 2020.

This team can't get better until LL Cool Shades is gone. And for that to happen, they have to get worse.

A good 64 in the air.

Poor guy with 3 picks in NFL debut. But I mostly liked what I saw.
12/20… 176yds… 2 TDs… 2 INTs in a loss. Not a bad debut.

Oh wait rhat was Ben’s debut

I didn't see all of kp, but two INT's were bullshit.

I definitely see an upgrade. KP want's to be out there and take risks, take the kick in the nuts and blow it off. Biscuit is a fucking wus.

Everything to do with NFL speed. The first hung in the air too long, and the second shouldn't have been thrown. He isn't throwing those picks in a few weeks after he's familiar with NFL speed.

All true

But hit Claypool in his hands
