They switched over to the Houston/Tennessee game.

I mean, it's early, but everything is breaking for the Steelers.
If the Texans get the upset over the Titans?
With Malik Willis shitting his pants, anything is possible.

Someone has to win that division. So a Tennessee win is not a make or break thing for the Steelers' hopes. But I hope Houston wins anyways.

True, but a Titans loss would put both the Jags and Titans at 7-8.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 7:58 pmSomeone has to win that division. So a Tennessee win is not a make or break thing for the Steelers' hopes. But I hope Houston wins anyways.
They play week 18 so at minimum one of those teams would finish with 9 losses while the other team wins the division. If the Steelers win out, that's another potential wild card team we'd hop over.

Hmm. I think if both teams Jags and Ten, finish 8-9, then Tennessee gets the 4th seed. I don't think 2 teams can get out of that division but not too sure of the scenarios. Edit. It definitely will help if Tenn loses.tbsteel wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 8:04 pmTrue, but a Titans loss would put both the Jags and Titans at 7-8.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 7:58 pmSomeone has to win that division. Btw, did anyone see the Houston TD?
It looked like the runner fumbled the ball into the endzone and a Houston player recovered it.
I thought only the person that fumbled forward into the EZ could recover it or there was a rule that would not allow you to fumble forward into the EZ.

I want peener hands to play well tonight. Because with all the emotion of tonight's game, if peener hands plays like shit, throws some ducks with his little peener hands, or fumbles the ball through his little peener fingers, and we lose.... that will suck the life out of even the drunkest of kool-aid fans.

Thought that rule only applied to the last two minutes of the 4th quarter. Only the player who fumbles the ball can advance it inside of 2 mins in the 4th. If another offensive player recovers a fumble down the field the ball goes back to the spot of the fumble.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 8:22 pmBtw, did anyone see the Houston TD?

Yep, pretty sure that is the rule. Madden’s Raiduhs are attached to that one too. Yeah Willis is a trainwreck.
All Kenward needs to do is play slightly better than Brock Purdy and we will be declared the champions of the 2022 QB draft. Hooray!

RayRay McCloud just scored a 71 yard TD.
That’s what happens when you have competent offensive coaching and not a bunch of dipshits in the booth/on the sideline.
Guys like RayRay score 71 yard TDs…

So rather than root for him and hope he plays well, you're going to mock him and hope he fails. Unfortunately I can't change what Pickett may be. I'm not going to waste my time rooting for him to fail though. I didn't care for the pick but he is here for the next few years so let's hope he continues to improve.Havoc wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 9:46 pmBetter an obvious bust than a guy who strings us along and in the end never had the talent us another Lombardi.

The eagles playcalling and play design is, I dunno, only about a million light years better than the bullshit we run out.
Menshew looks great in that offense. If Garner came here with his beautiful hair he’d look like Trubunsky 2.0

Yep. 2nd TD thrown and one running TD on a QB sneak. It helps having A. J. Brown (probably the best WR in NFLnowadays) catching passes, that´s for sure.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 11:17 pmThe eagles playcalling and play design is, I dunno, only about a million light years better than the bullshit we run out.

That was a stupid kick off by Miami. Why not just kick it out of bounds?

I tip my hat to GB for that 4th and goal play. I would have kicked the FG.
