Things I liked

Post by SteelerDayTrader » Mon Jan 02, 2023 2:10 pm

- Pickett despite yet another mediocre game for 57 mins played well at the end. If the Steelers add another quality RB or 2 and another game ready TE to the mix I can at least imagine Pickett being able to direct a winning offense against a large percentage of nfl teams.

- Robinson and Leal getting serious time in a big game and succeeding. If Robinson can be the thumper at ILB and Leal can demand a starting role at DE this defense MIGHT have a window developing on the horizon. If they can find a way to keep Highsmith that would be huge as well

- The offensive line has gotten to a point where it’s not a must draft priority which is great. Having your hand forced in the draft is never a good thing. Plenty good OL prospects I’d consider in this draft and not being forced into a reach is important

- No matter what you think about Tomlin he clearly enjoys coaching underdogs more than contenders. Pickett could present an interesting approach as the Steelers would likely be underdogs in any big game with him at QB.

I liked “The Whale”. Saw it with the wife 2 weeks ago.

Fantastic film.

Fraser is incredible. Extremely sad though.

Missed Violent Night. Looked, as you said, ridiculous.

I saw Violent Night. It was ok. Imagine Bad Santa with a lot of gratuitous violence.

Ever see Fat Man? Mel Gibson movie about how some spoiled kid hires an assassin to kill Santa Claus. Now that movie was weird.

I can't wait for his next mock draft.

Since we are talking about ridiculous and weird movies google the trailer for Cocaine Bear. New movie coming out next month.
