Maybe?
I mean right now the season rests on us playing Houston first round and no one else. We want our magic playoff win, no matter how ugly or inconsequential, we must play at Houston. That is the best chance. Playing at Baltimore or Buffalo would be sketchy at best.
Cincinnati with something to play for will be hard for us at the moment to beat. Now their spot could be hard to get as Denver will be playing a KC squad playing backups.
We need to beat Cincinnati because at a minimum Chargers are not going to lose to the Raiders and Ravens aren't going to lose to Browns.
So our best chance to play at Houston is to beat a nothing to play for Bengals. Not saying they still won't play hard. Just that it may be easier if they are done already.

This is what Tomlin has reduced the fan base to.
Pathetic.

Truth. What does it matter if we play Houston, Baltimore or Buffalo in round 1. All of them score 30+ and beat the Steelers. I’ve said it a million times, either cheer for NHALS or drive yourself nuts in an exercise in futility that this team is an actual contender under Tomlin. 14 years with no playoff wins vs teams with starting caliber QBs.

Lol. True. Still interesting to play with all the combos though. That's one good thing about NHALS. The ESPN Playoff Scenario Machine gets a workout by us Steelers fans lol

I understand the pessimism. But, we can still enjoy working out the various scenarios and discussing them.
I'm not from Philly.

Bo Nix might actually be good.
Couple of dudes on here tried to convince us he’d been the next Kenny Pickett
Im seeing him make throws I haven’t seen Kenny make in 3 seasons

That TD pass he just threw had longer air yards than any pass in Big Ben's career. FWIW.

Well, a small correction, a completed pass. Perhaps Ben had a longer pass in the air that was an incompletion, although I doubt it.
By my count, Ben had two completions over 60 yards in the air in his career, neither of which went as far in the air as Nix's toss.

Tomlinesque clock management by Cincinnati. Not running the clock down was just dumb... a 3 pt lead with 20 seconds is surely safer than a 7 point lead with 1:30 + a time out.

Cinci screwed up there, now have to go OT
Nix is a gamer!!
Denver sacks Burro twice and can get ball in OT only needing a FG

Steelers actually can't finish 7th seed. If them and Broncos end up same record Steelers win tiebreaker.
So Steelers win Baltimore loss. Probably Chargers at Steelers.
Ravens win Steelers win Steelers at Houston
Steelers loss Chargers loss. Steelers at Houston
Steelers loss Chargers win Steelers at Baltimore

Well, that game showed that Mike tomlin isn't the lone gameday dumbfuck wearing a headset in the NFL. Denver should def gone for the 2 to win the game in reg. Momentum going, on the road, hadnt really stopped the bungals O all day. And...Denver's first possession of the game, 3rd and 2 in the red zone, throws a fade incomplete, then kicks the FG. Shoulda been 4 down territory.
Bungals completely fucked up end of regulation. Bungals tried their best to lose, or tie, in typical bungals fashion, but denver wouldn't take it. One first down after the miss and theyre in the playoffs.
Next week, bungals still in it adds some intensity to Steelers finale, and Steelers need a win to enter playoffs the right way. No way they go to Buffalo in WC round, and that's a good thing. If it's baltimore...ok....Steelers as we know, play baltimore tough.
Oh, I wouldn't assume that KC loses to denver
