Jayden Daniels is no ordinary rookie, but I can't bet on a rookie QB to make a Super Bowl.
Has it ever happened?
Is Ben still the youngest QB to win a SB?
No rookie QB has ever made the Super Bowl as a starter.
Ben is still the youngest QB to win as a starting QB. Mahomes is second.
Won't be this year,either.
Damn, Jaylen Daniels just turned 25!

One would think with the right coaching and schematics that Fields could be something. I know he isn’t as accurate as Daniels, but the right scheme you don’t have to be super accurate.

That's fools gold. Not "super accurate" can win you a lot of games. But never close to a SB.

I will say it right now...I wanted the Steelers to trade up and get Jayden Daniels.
He was my favorite QB coming out.
Not that we would have known what to do with him...

Guaranteed Fields could go to Baltimore, DC and KC, and be FQB super star.
Just won’t happen on the Steelers.

No they would have broke him, and he never would have reached his potential.

If the Steelers would upgrade their RB room and WR room Fields might have a chance.

Commanders will beat KC. Best team in the league!
I don't think KC will get past Buffalo or Ravens.

I mean he might - MIGHT - have been better than Kenny Pickett. But I doubt it.

Remember, Klingsbury's agent called up the Steelers to try and get an interview for him as OC and the Steelers said "No thanks...we're good".

KC is going to be the first team to 3-peat. They definitely beat whomever comes out of the NFC. They have BAL and BUF's number. Mahomes on his way to being the GOAT - embrace it because then we don't have to keep hearing about Brady and Belicheat.

Depends on how much the officials are in their pockets again.

Quinn’s energy and his going for it gives a QB so many extra plays to learn football and gain confidence in a game.
Daniel’s gets like 200 plays a game to get things going.
A Steelers QB gets about 12 plays.
Big difference. Also if Tomlin was a dog, he’d have hot spots/bald spots all over his fur coat worrying about risk.
Quinn would look like the brown dog!

Detroit draining clock, giving themselves plenty of time pressure.
Humbled a second season in a row.
"We, as an offensive collective were off today, and certainly, he's a component of that,"

Yeah yeah yeah. Difficult to prove. The teams mentioned above don’t need another FQB. And all the others think Fields is beyond the point of no return.

Fields can't read a defense for shit! He's dumber than a box of rocks! He can't come to the line, read the d, and make adjustments!

All those teams could have had Jacoby Brissett. They passed. A better pass than Fields usually makes

All true.
I don't get the love affair 2 or 3 posters have for Fields. He's not good and never will be because he can't read a defense or throw accurately.

Washington came out looking for blood. They were amped. Shocked the Lions.

I don't know why so many are so high on Fields. He's a first round bust who has repeatedly demonstrated he's not a quality NFL starter. What is it about him that convinces so many he's a superstar in waiting? You don’t hear the same about Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, or other recent highly selected 1st round QB busts.

The luster came off Aaron Glenn tonight, injuries or not.
I don't know if this hurts Ben Johnson, but the trick play came at the wrong time and that killed any hopes of a comeback.

LJ couldn’t throw accurately either. We could go back to the threads from his first 4 years and I guarantee the boards are littered with comments about his accuracy.
