Holeee Shiznit do we have some content lined up for you. Starting Monday and then adding episodes as quickly as I can get them out all week-- if you're a real diehard, you could listen to like 20 hours of SteelerFury content. Here's what's in store:
• A fireside chat with SteelPerch, talking about his take on all things Steelers, the end of last year, the offseason, the draft, and what comes next
• The podcast crew talks about the Steelers WTF offseason and identifies Steelers needs after Free Agency and before the draft. We also discuss QBs, both old and new.
• The reveal of the 20205 B2B Directional State team of underrated, undervalued, and small-school players
In addition to all of that, We are doing something slightly different and probably a lot more interesting with our Steelers Mock War Room: We are participating as a team in the conglomeration of two giant Xwitter mocks that Korey & I have participated for several years... this time broadcast live on youtube, with 32 teams who are all podcasting their own war rooms. Most, like us, are recording all the confidential plans and war room discussions and will release all the behind the scenes footage and discussions on videos and podcasts.
We did 2.5 hours of building our board and discussion prospects position by position, there will be a live in the war room for three nights that will be mostly flurries of activity and which may or may not be interesting to anyone, and then we will do a wrap up podcast of what we did at each step of the draft.
If you want to see the results of the draft BEFORE you get all of the content, you can PM me and I'll tell you how to watch the broadcast. Or, if you'd rather see it all in order and maintain the suspense, the full behind the scenes will be released Between Monday & Thursday.
Anyway, it's been a ton of work so far, and we're through round one of the draft... but a hell of a lot of fun.
I think this is going to happen again next year, and maybe we'll share the live tapings with registered SteelerFury users as we go for anyone who has the time and energy to follow along. Or you can wait for the videos/podcasts to come out and skim through at your leisure.
Currently, I'm wiped out but I sure hope we can give you guys something to enjoy between now and the draft.
