Cuts and Trades also waiver Additions
OK last game done now we see who will make the 53 and who they might Trade for and Move out. But i am looking for the possible outsides additions.
Can’t wait for Jibba Jabber to keep this vital player yet again…
2024: 6 receptions, 40 yards 1 TD
2023: 23 receptions, 167 yards 0 TDs
2022: 12 receptions, 151 yards 1 TD.
That type of production must be retained.

Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 84 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

I want to say he did but honestly, I didn’t pay attention to whether Lee or McQuaide was LS.

Any rumors on trading one one of the QB's
How about one of the punters.
Be nice to pick up at least a 5th rounder for each.

I thinking Huntley will go to the raiders now
I don't get all the hand-wringing.
Seems like a pretty easy decision to cut Thompson.
They're more comfortable with Rudolph as our top backup. There isn't room for Thompson. Dems the breaks.

Johnston out, Waitmann in.

Mark Robinson and Lew Nichols gone.
Indeed. Hopefully Nichols to the PS. Robinson's fate was mostly sealed when Holcomb came back looking strong, at least the way I saw it.

I was thinking they cut Robinson so they could keep another nepo pick….Carson Bruener. You're probably right about Holcomb though.Ice wrote: ↑Mon Aug 25, 2025 9:20 pmIndeed. Jacobi Meyers a rumored trade target last season
In last year of contract shouldn’t cost more than a day 3 pick.
Forever NHALS

Holcomb, I think, made it Robinson vs Bruener for an STs slot, and then the nepo fetish won out over Tomlin Trusted Veteran Syndrome.Charles Demarr wrote: ↑Mon Aug 25, 2025 9:28 pmI was thinking they cut Robinson so they could keep another nepo pick….Carson Bruener. Love the way Lew Nichols runs the football.

I think this is predominantly about giving Bruener a shot
Having said that, after 4 seasons, you know what you have in Robinson, and it isn’t a viable ILB
So giving Brueners kid a chance, to see if he develops beyond special teams isn’t a terrible thing
So much for the idea of trading Skylar Thompson to the Raiders
The Browns just traded them Kenny Pickett for a 5th

A 5th for Pickett at this point is a massive steal by the Browns (never thought I’d say that) and the Eagles released DTR.

Holcomb is the perennial hardhat lunchpailer.
Kenny isn’t that. Holy shit he bombed out.
Does he have drugs to be his excuse

"We, as an offensive collective were off today, and certainly, he's a component of that,"
Don’t they know he went to Pitt???
Seems like the only reason our dipshit staff drafted him.

Bruener can play and he's a plus plus special teamer. I've got no problem with that nepo pick.anpsteel wrote: ↑Mon Aug 25, 2025 11:21 pmYepCharles Demarr wrote: ↑Mon Aug 25, 2025 9:28 pmI was thinking they cut Robinson so they could keep another nepo pick….Carson Bruener. Could they be interested in this WR from the waiver wire?
23 year old, Brenden Rice is being released by the Chargers, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.
He was buried on the roster and became a numbers casualty.
Also on the waiver wire Edge Brennan Jackson, a fifth-round pick in 2024, was released on Monday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter
And another, Chiefs are waiving undrafted rookie wide receiver Hal Presley, “per a league source.”

Bucs release Desmond Watson after fat shaming him for a few weeks.
