A couple of absolute shockers in there. Donte Kent over Beanie Bishop is wild. Couple of unknown DL. Heck, 8 IDL is different.
Only the 4 EDGE rushers, two are hurt, with one not being ready for week 1.

Yeah kent over bishop is a stunner. Must have been some truly elite hot tubbing displayed by Kent this preseason.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Tue Aug 26, 2025 10:53 pmA couple of absolute shockers in there. Donte Kent over Beanie Bishop is wild. Couple of unknown DL. Heck, 8 IDL is different.

Heard this discussed he was a lot faster than Pierre for a possible ST’s role. Not sure it was gunner but speed and youth I heard is what tipped the scale in his favor. Personally I understand Trice because of his size 6’3” but Jesus he’s never healthy. I almost would have kept Beanie over Trice. IDK, maybe he finds his way back.Mick wrote: ↑Tue Aug 26, 2025 11:05 pmYeah kent over bishop is a stunner. Trice is also gone, but i think that was a while ago.Thrillsseeker wrote: ↑Tue Aug 26, 2025 11:25 pmHeard this discussed he was a lot faster than Pierre for a possible ST’s role. Steelers love them some nepotism.
Donte kent on IR.
Kind of feeling like Khan just wants to keep his ‘every draft pick has made roster’ streak going.

Regarding that elusive WR:
https://www.nfl.com/news/veteran-wr-mar ... r-steelers
"It was between here and Pittsburgh," Valdes-Scantling said told reporters on Thursday, via NBC Sports Bay Area & California. "Obviously, I have a good relationship with Aaron Rodgers over there, and he wanted me back over there. So, it was a toss-up, 50/50. I had to weigh my options and see which one I wanted to do, which was going to be better for my career at this point, and I was excited about it."
Valdes-Scantling explained the playbook familiarity between 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak to Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak is what tipped the scale for his decision to sign with San Francisco.
"Not having to learn a new system," Valdes-Scantling said. "Being able to get onto the field right away, obviously, that's the goal. And so, being able to jump-start that process of learning the system, it betters the chances of you being on the field."

Learning the Steelers playbook is like learning Latin....it may not be all that difficult, but it's entirely useless
