Unfortunately they used that play on 4th and goal, when they needed four.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Sep 28, 2025 4:48 pmWhen you don’t have a play on 4th and an inch to seal a victory you don’t belong in the NFL as a HC. Anyone think the eagles would’ve punted there? Tomlin is absurdly bad.

I bet the over.
A cool $1,000 if I win.

Wentz played as good as you can play having been signed two weeks ago and having 3 starting OL out
The fact that was even a game was alternately chicken shit and complete dumbassed coaching, nothing more

How was there a catch on the Vikings two point try? Knee landed OOBs

They missed it. Or he had possession for a nano a second.
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

correct and as good as he can play isn't good
agreed about head chicken shit
i wanted so badly to just enjoy the win and any future wins and stop dwelling on tomlin ...and then he dragged be back in

Haven't heard tomlin's presser yet, but I'm sure he'll defend his decision by saying had the O failed to convert, vikes would have been about 20 yards shy of FG range. I'm not defending his position but it IS defensible. That said, I'm sure vikes were happy to see him punt.
One of Rodgers comments postgame..."The O has go to close that out."
Interesting stat thing...Rodgers threw 4 incompletes, three to receivers (Johnson, miller, Skowronek) who had no catches.

I agree. They had to perform video jujitsu to conclude he bobbled AND did not get his feet in.
It wasn't conclusive on the views I saw.

Punting was the correct call. Otherwise if they went for it and failed, there's a good chance we go to OT and we're still playing.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 28, 2025 6:25 pmHaven't heard tomlin's presser yet, but I'm sure he'll defend his decision by saying had the O failed to convert, vikes would have been about 20 yards shy of FG range. Presser seemed to be mostly Irish scribes. He wasn't asked about that decision but about the failed 4th down run at the goal line. "We don't live in our fears,....some other bullshit line....blah, blah, blah"

So on 4th and goal they decided to go way from the chip shot FG to put them up by 13 and decided to run the ball from 5 yards out. Instead of putting in AR hands and use Dk or Washington. Then this dick insteads of going for it on 4th and inch he punts the ball and of course it a touchback. Why Mike
A few thoughts.
SNR post game... a bunch of Koolaide drinkers (no limits to the dumb)
Maybe this team will morph into something likeable...
I didn't hate seeing Rodgers happy and having fun
The D looked legit today BECAUSE we got pressure... vs a team missing 3 starters on their OL.
All questions about this team remain.
Today was a bad day for the franchise (SBI). Needed 2-2 for a very real chance of breaking the curse of NHALS (the #1 brain dead streak in sports history).
It was not terrible seeing the team win the game in Ireland with so many ties there.

4 times they threw it short of the sticks on 3rd down.

Not if he is a basket case or not a team player. He gave up on the Steelers and needed a fresh start.
Good for him.

A couple of times, at least, a Steeler ran backwards with the ball. Not on offense. I think it was on a turnover return, and at least 1 kickoff or punt return.
