As much as last night sucked I think there are some positives.

Rogers is moving really well. As long as his olineman don't hurt him celebrating I think this is very positive.

Hopefully last night was the low point for the Defense. I think they will have their moments.

I think they beat Green Bay actually. It's what Tomlin does. Just like last night.

My only goal coming into the season was to beat the Texans 10-9 in the early throw away Saturday Wild-Card game and that is still attainable I think.

So Here We Go. :-)

I don’t think Rogers was moving that well. I think Cinci’s rush was moving that poorly. He did make it look easy floating around the pocket and shifting the pocket, but I think that was more Cinci and less Rogers. Maybe I am wrong though.

As I said in the game thread. He could have had a barbecue on the one play before throwing it.

I think both teams decided to do 7 Mississippi rushing.

At least for the moment, Rodgers 14 TD passes is tied for NFL lead (with J Goff)

About the only certainty is NHALS. How Tomlin gets there is anybody's guess.

- Some years they hover around. 500 all year.

- Other seasons they start by sucking and win a bunch at the end - think the 2013 start of 0-4 / 2-6 including a London loss to the 0-3 Vikings followed by winning 6 of 8 to go 8-8.

- Then we have last year's free fall from 10-3 to 10-7.

Bottom line, Tomlins teams find a way to get somewhere between 8 and 11 wins no matter how they start.

It's what he coaches for, and it's grossly overrated as some kind of achievement. It's completely unimpressive in today's NFL.

If we were competing for championships while NHALSing, that would be a different story. But Tomlin's NHALS is about taking advantage of 31 other coaches who actually are expected to do more than win 9 games.

And that will be sooooo funny after the media had already anointed us division champs when sitting at 4-1.

I hope we do lose the next 3. Seeing Jibbs crash & burn is now more entertaining than the meaningless wins.

We all know how the movie ends anyways.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 81 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.
