Just watched the replay of the Lamar incident. It's way different for a number of reasons:sinceiwas4 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 22, 2025 5:40 amwhy is it we think he will be suspended when the precedent with league is fine only? also lamar jackson shoved a fan a few weeks ago and got no disclipine..now i assume the fan being physical in that case is why jackson got nothing but if the precedent is a fine ..or nothing, why do we think DK will get suspended? the fan has admitted he was trying to draw a reaction. and DK fid not contact the fan noe ofc, dk is dumb af for falling for it but it should only cost him money if thats the precedent as reported
1. The fan puts his hands on the players first, slapping DeAndre Hopkins helmet, then Lamar. DK initiated contact with the fan.
2. Lamar retaliated with a shove, not a punch like DK (even if the punch didn't land cleanly).
3. Lamar and DHop were celebrating a TD near the stands, whereas DK left the bench area on his own to confront the fan.
Another difference is the DK story seems to have traction in the media. It's the #1 headline on ESPN.com and was seen semi-live on national TV. I am sure it will be a top story on all of the ESPN this week. We know the NFL if very image conscious. See the Ray Rice fiasco. Rice admitted everything to NFL investigators but didn't get punished until the video surfaced and became a huge story.
