Nick Markakis on Astros: "Every guy over there needs a beating."
He played at ucla and is in either his 1st or 2nd year
I was very surprised the Steelers didn’t bring him in
Of course - my memory can’t recall if that was this past off season or the year prior lol

Did that play just happen or am I on drugs.
Both can be true.

Well that was impressive. Type of play Ben would have made back in the day.

Root for the Rams to lose here to speed up our interviews and coaching search
Insane throw and catch.

What the hell happened on that play, not even trying to get the first. Weird.

The receiver pushed off there, no call. If the defender held onto the receiver when being pushed they would’ve called a penalty. Shit is so inconsistent.
Yeah I’m with Collinsworth. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that before.

Would’ve loved a Josh Allen/Caleb Williams Super Bowl

And the nfl shill said- no that’s not pass interference
The league is so compromised
If there were any conspiracy theorist in me, I’d ask how the receiver was so wide open when the ball was in the air for an hour and a half.

Not OPI, both were handfighting and he released. It is OPI if the receiver initiates contact to create space or to stop a DB catch.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

It’s absolutely opi
I feel fairly comfortable saying that Williams had no idea where or to who he was throwing that ball. Desperation grab even lower odds than a hail marry that connected, but which people will blow him for.
If the defender had done the same thing it would have been called

if its OPI, then what the defender prior to release was doing was DPI

There have been a non calls in this game. The big passing play to get the Rams started on their last TD drive was an obvious OPI pick. The Rams receiver picked off 2 bears defenders.Steelperch wrote: ↑Mon Jan 19, 2026 2:42 amThe receiver pushed off there, no call. It just feels like the refs are letting them play unless it has to be called. I think that's better than not calling things and then throwing flags late in the game and in OT.
